Kevin Helas is a London based Designer, Illustrator and Artist born in Aotearoa (New Zealand).
Kevin worked for several years as a graphic artist and illustrator at the New Zealand Herald soon after leaving school.
He completed a Graphic Design Degree before heading to London to embark on an MA in Communication Design at Central Saint Martins with the support of a Creative NZ professional development grant.

After a diverse range of roles working in leading creative agencies in London and Zurich including UX Designer/Information Architect at Digit; UI/UX designer for Swissair in Zurich and in-house designer at the V&A, Kevin set up his own Design Consultancy, which he has run for over 12 years. He helps people find their voice, producing beautifully crafted design solutions that support the growth and transformation of their brands and businesses.

 Kevin's expertise extends beyond design. He has extensive training and experience in transformation
and wellbeing practices, encompassing wholefood cooking, one-to-one coaching and workshop facilitation. He offers these services alongside his design and art practice, as alternative ways to support people to find and express their voice.

A solo exhibition of artworks inspired by Whakatauki (Maori proverbs),
combining Maori text with English translations ina series of prints and drawings,
showcasing the beauty and resonance of Maori language, and the
wisdom of these ancient sayings.
